The Mission Crest Elementary School Parent Club (MCEPC) Board welcomes you back to school and invites you to become a member. This is our very first fundraiser of the year and it requires nothing more than your generous donation. Being an MCEPC member does not obligate you to go to meetings, donate your time or put you on a calling list (although we would love to have you here on campus)! La hora de llegada comienza a las 7:15 AM, las entradas a la escuela están en Muscatel al final de la cancha de baloncesto y el portón de Independencia. Se puede dejar a los estudiantes de manera segura en cualquier lugar a lo largo de las pasarelas de concreto que bordean las áreas de salida, no solo frente a la puerta. Si elige estacionar, camine con su hijo por todas las calles y por los estacionamientos. A los padres se les permite estar en el campus para acompañar a los estudiantes a clase en su primer día. Back to School Message 8/9/2023 Hello, this is Mr. Plescia, Principal at Mission Crest Elementary School with an important message. First, Welcome Back to School! We are looking forward to a wonderful school year. As a reminder, tomorrow, Thursday, August 10th is the first day of school. Arrival time starts at 7:15 AM, the entrances to the school are on Muscatel at the end of the basketball court and the gate along Independence. Students can be safely dropped off anywhere along the concrete walkways that line the dismissal areas not just in front of the gate. If you select to park, please walk your child across all streets and through any parking lots. Parents are permitted on campus to walk students to class on their first day. After the first day, it is time to say goodbye once you reach the arrival entrance gates, if you would like to volunteer in classrooms, in the parent center, field trips or any upcoming school event, you will need to complete a volunteer form that must be approved by the School Board. You can find out more information about volunteering including volunteer forms, school rules, procedures and more in the Mission Crest Guidebook and HUSD Handbook found on the Mission Crest and HUSD websites. Lastly, if you are a returning family and have not already, make sure to update your online registration (OLR) which can be found on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Hello Mission Crest Families, the first day of school, Thursday, August 10th is quickly approaching. We are excited for the 2023 - 2024 school year. You can find the 2023 - 2024 suggested supply list on the Mission Crest website under the "Parent" tab. Grades TK - 6 registration is open. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out as the Mission Crest office is currently open Monday - Thursday from 7:45 AM to 2:00 PM (Closed for lunch 11:30 - 12:30).
